About the project
The impossible is just a matter of making it possible.
Bradockdan (Tef Preto) is a rapper from the East Side of São Paulo who started his career in 2021. I admire his work: he writes good lyrics and he's good at what he does. This site is a proposal I made on my own initiative to tell his story. It wasn't commissioned by the artist.
(01) The challenge
I wanted a site that sounds like him. There was a lot to tell: where the name comes from, the kid who wanted to be an animator and won a Disney drawing contest at school, what the 9 means and the album Devaneios. All of it had to fit without losing the simple look he stands for.
(02) How I did it
I used the black and white photos under the overpass and big type. The story reads in chapters as you scroll: who he is, the name, the drawing, the 9. Then come the album track by track, the discography, the style, the shows and the contact.
