About the project
A videographer's portfolio.
This portfolio belongs to a videographer. Since his work is video, showing it in a grid of thumbnails made no sense.
(01) The challenge
Video files are heavy. They had to play full screen without slowing the site down, and visitors needed to move through the projects without getting lost.
(02) How I did it
The video fills the screen and the projects appear one at a time as you scroll. Loading is set up so the first frame shows quickly.
(03) What was built
Highlights
01Full-screen video
The work fills the whole screen, which is how it should be seen.
02One project at a time
Projects follow one another like chapters, at the pace of your scroll.
03Hand-picked work
A short selection, with context for each video.
